2011 has seen increased market activity with 33 sales. The average price rose again in 2011 to $791,750.00. 2010 was an active real estate market in Heritage Estates. There was 22 home sales in Heritage Estates have been recorded with the average selling price being at the $761,500.00 price point.  2010 was another strong year of activity in comparison to 2009 which saw 25 sales total and an average sale price at the $660,000.00 price point. Heritage Estates is a very desirable neighbourhood and the demand only seems to be increasing.

Transit:

York Region Transit in Heritage Estates Richmond HillYork Region Transit (YRT) provides public transportation into and out of Heritage Estates. There are two primary routs that provide access to this beautiful neighbourhood. Route 83/83A provides service Monday through Saturday along Regent St. and Elery Dr.

Education:

There are a number of public and private school options available to residents of Heritage Estates. Pleasantville Public School is an elementary school located in the heart of Heritage Estates providing classes from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. Pleasantville P.S. has continually surpassed the board and Alexander Mackenzie High School, 300 Major Mackenzi Dr. W. Students living in Heritage Estates in the Public Secondary School system fall within Alexander Mackenzie High School's boundaries.

Catholic Schools servicing Heritage Estates include St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Elementary School which provides classes for kindergarten to grade 8. Secondary school students would attend St. Theresa of Lisieux on Shaftsburry Ave.

Many of the private schools in the area provide both elementary and secondary education to their students. Some of the local private schools include: Holy Trinity School , TMS Toronto Montessori Schools , The Country Day School , The Kaveh Academy.

The Education Quality and Accountability Office administers standardized tests in all schools across Ontario. Places Of Worship:


Richmond Hill, with its' wonderful ethnic mosaic has places of worship of varied types. There are many Catholic and Protestant Churches slightly south on Yonge Street. Jewish Synagogues are located off Bathurst Street and Bayview Avenue near by. A large Hindu Temple is located at Elgin Mills Road and Bayview Avenue. There is a Muslim Mosque is located a short drive away on Jane Street in north Maple.
